The Hitters are "GOING GOLD" as September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  We are partnering with a local organization in Chicagoland known as Cal's Angels to sell t-shirts, decorate Duchon Field, and deck out the team, the pom and cheer squads as well as the marching band in gold.  This effort will take all of us together to get the student body decked out in GOLD by selling t-shirts throughout the week during lunch periods as well as on game day.  Proceeds of the t-shirt sales go directly back to Cal's Angels who will use it to support families fighting childhood cancer every day.  Unfortunately, childhood cancer IS NOT RARE, and the Hitters have an opportunity to tackle childhood cancer while taking on rival DGN.
