Former Glenbard West Hitters Offensive Tackle, #77 Erik Alexander Lonvick, 18, of Glen Ellyn, IL, was born on August 22, 2005 and passed away on March 3, 2024. He died a week after an utterly unexpected cardiac event caused by asymptomatic Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.

This is the main fundraiser for the Hitters Football Program. This year the tournament is on June 21 at Village Links.

Jimmy was very active with Glenbard West Boosters and enthusiastically served as past president (wearing his typical uniform of the Vineyard Vines shirt, tucked into khakis, ready to work). He loved giving back to all the students at Glenbard West.

The Andrew Garwood STRONG Foundation mission is to accelerate the eradication of brain cancer and to award selective college academic scholarships. Every year, we award a scholarship to a senior on the Glenbard West High School football team who best exemplifies the character, leadership, and teamwork shown by Andrew.
